Battle or Rest?

Fear is always hungry, all it wants to do is eat and grow, it is it’s only purpose. It’s purpose can not be manifested without your help. As we move through our lives we project these frequencies into the world. We feed the beast and call it the devil. Fear is the enemy, it is that simple. The greatest battle ever waged was the one in our own minds. The enemy with in is fed by our own belief. We give it power over us, it grows only by the amount of food we give it. It has been the source of our own self manipulation. We don’t want to believe that we do this to ourselves, so we create an outside source to be the determining factor of why we are afraid, of why things are the way they are. We give credit to a self made manifestation and take no responsibility for it. We go to church on Sunday, sit down and plug the IV in and get fed that which we want to hear, it’s not your fault. Keep fighting the good fight! One day the battle will be worth it, you will slay the enemy and all will be right in your world.

All is right in the world now, if you see God in everything. Resting in the Father is seeing what it is He is showing you. It is the lessons, the wisdom of seeing His ways and what He is doing.

If I look upon the present situation as an attack, then I will develop a posture to perform, to battle. If I look at it from God’s perspective, through the lens of Grace, I can then take comfort in the relationship and in His understanding. If I grow from it instead of defeating it I gain wisdom instead of knowledge. You will defeat it, you are more than a conqueror, but you will also have to battle it again. You will gain knowledge of how to battle, instead of the wisdom to rest and let Him battle. The real understanding comes when you realize He doesn’t battle, He is victorious already. Wisdom then tells you this, because He is in you, you are also already victorious!

If you are standing on the battlefield with your teacher, you are gaining knowledge of how to fight. If you are resting in the arms of your teacher, you are gaining wisdom of the power that is within you. Wisdom of love and of Grace.

Knowledge keeps you busy, knowledge gives a false sense of control, working for knowledge keeps you striving and tired. Wisdom on the other hand, gives you peace, comfort and divine rest. Unlike we have been taught, God is not a God of war, He is the God of peace. He doesn’t want you to fight, He wants you to have peace. This all goes back to the beginning of this, if you feed fear, you will feel the need to fight. If you feed Grace, you will not feel need at all, you will just be love, just like He is.

A not so random thought

Just a not so random thought… I wonder how many people rebelled against the stay at home, stay away from family gatherings this weekend. I wonder how many chose to not follow the law. These same people who look down on drug users, people who steal, people who commit domestic violence and all the other law breakers, have now joined into committing criminal acts. What’s the difference, they will say it didn’t hurt anyone, it was about family or community. Time will tell won’t it.
We walk in a self righteous state, condemning those who do things that we don’t agree with, but in our minds we justify our actions with self serving excuses of righteousness. What happens when we only see our selves in what we are doing is we become unable to see the effect of our actions on others.
Here is a question, what happens if just one of your friends or family members were carrying the covid virus? Now if there were 10, 20 or more people gathered in your group, what does that look like? What if you are an essential worker? Haven’t you now put those people at risk? Their families? What about when you go shopping, I bet you don’t wear a face mask, so now you have put all those people at risk. Haven’t you?
We are so quick to condemn and stand in conviction of others. We look upon their law breaking as being selfish, appalling and evil. The Bible says no sin is greater than the other. But, when we look at ourselves, we skew that into our favor, we say well I didn’t actually kill anyone. Well, in this case you actually may have. Time will tell.
No one is without sin, I am thankful for a loving God who does not see my sin, I am grateful for the blood that washed that away. But I do know this, because I have seen it in my own life, sin judges sin. A thief goes to jail, alcohol abuse destroys the body and a speeder gets a ticket.
I have no judgement or ill feelings towards anyone for doing what you felt you must do. I do ask this of you, next time you jump up on your pedestal, your stump or climb up the stairs, remember your own actions before you start casting down conviction on others. It’s easy to see the fault in others, it’s easy to wrong in others, it is also easy to become one of the others. Grace goes along ways, so does wisdom. I believe we all need to practice a little more of both.

My Resurrection

I have heard so many believers say that they can look back and see God in their life before they recognized Jesus. Before they were “saved”.

Religion teaches you have no favor with God until you give yourself to Jesus, you are separated, but yet so many saw Him working in their lives before.

Personally the fact that I’m alive is Divine. Today I look back and see God all over my life, even before my day of awakening. Why would He do that if I had not accepted His Son? Religion will tell you that you need salvation to get “right with God “. I once again ask this question, why did He show me favor before that day? Why did I live through multiple car accidents? Why didn’t I die from countless alcohol poisonings, alcohol overdoses? How did I not overdose on the large amounts of cocaine and they combinations of both? Why when I had enough of all of that life style and was ready to give up, why did He call me? You see I was sitting on a log in the woods with a gun in my hand, sobbing, I had had enough! I called out for help to pull the trigger, “God please help me”. What I got instead was a phone call, from someone whom I cannot remember. I put down the gun, climbed of that log and went home. It was my resurrection! How fitting for my life, I was on a tree and it was the beginning of my awakening.

So, back to this question, if I had not reconciled with God through Jesus, why did He show up? Why did He show up the multiple times before? If the relationship wasn’t there yet, if my sins had not been forgiven by me speaking those infamous words of salvation, why would He save that sinner?

You see the story didn’t end on that log, nor did it begin there. Everything I walked through was God! The days after that day were orchestrated by Him, once again before I asked for forgiveness. I was arrested shortly after that day on the log. I was sent to AA. I saw what I now know as God in all of those amazing people in the program. They spoke life into me, even those whom were not saved. I met my now wife, who spoke life into me, before I was saved. Why would a God, whom I did not believe to have a Son, that He sent as a sacrifice for me, do all of that? Why would He do that before I knew Jesus? Why?

I know why now, because I have been forgiven since the cross! Jesus has always been inside me! I have never been separated from a God, except in my own mind. His favor poured out on me throughout my life! Religion will say it’s because I had a divine appointment. Religion will say it’s so I could share my testimony. This is a direct contradiction to their belief system, so they must say something, even if it doesn’t make sense. They have to make an excuse even if it goes against what they themselves believe. This becomes confusing and it misleads so many. It turns away those who have not awakened to the love, power and authority that lives in them. It is the teaching of faith without works, except for this special case of Jim…

The truth is, I didn’t do a thing to get that favor. I didn’t do a thing for God to love me unconditionally. Actually I did the opposite. I didn’t have to do a thing, why? Jesus already did it! It is finished! Today is the day of resurrection, the day Jesus showed us the awesome power of God! It is the day of good news! This is the day that we don’t have to add a thing to the cross, the day that even to death was defeated! It goes so much deeper, they is so much more to learn, to teach and to awaken to. Grace is the answer to all the questions. Look inside you, then look back at you, do you see Him there? My story isn’t special at all, but what He did for “all” is.

I am grateful to my Savior, for this day, for the days leading up to this day. Not just in His life, but also in my own. I am free! No separation, no bondage, just Jesus!

Identity

To be kingdom minded, to be like Jesus, is to honor the spirit of the person in front of you, no matter what the flesh is doing.

God once said to me, “to enter the kingdom leave your ego at the door”. What is the definition of ego?

: the self especially as contrasted with another self or the world

: the one of the three divisions of the psyche in psychoanalytic theory that serves as the organized conscious mediator between the person and reality especially by functioning both in the perception of and adaptation to reality

I read the above and what stands out is, the way I view myself from flesh, my Spirit and my perception of reality. My other self is my Spirit, my perception is the way I view things from those two much different places.

My flesh will always view things from a distorted place, a veiled reality. The hurt, the tribulations of this realm, this world. It masks us from the true identity of who we are through the multiple things that have been brought against our flesh. It sees the many things we have done to others, justifies them and we move on caught up in an illusion of no harm, no foul. What happens is our sin is now judged by the sin, self condemnation is a reality that persecutes us. It rolls around in our subconscious until it reveals itself in many ways, sometimes very ugly ways. Our actions and words will now carry that egotistical weight, we judge, we convict and condemn others. We do not see their spirit, we do not see the Jesus in them, we only see our perception of them through the lens of self.

What has happened to make us this way? We have been taught this, it has been learned from many different angles, even by those who have no idea that this is what they are teaching us. We have been hurt by loved ones, we have been treated poorly by those in the world and we have encountered things that have pulled the veil over our eyes to the truth of unconditional love.

What happens to us when we become ego driven? The first one that comes to mind is what God said to me, you cannot enter the kingdom with your ego attached. This does not mean you are not going to Heaven when you die! What it means is you will not experience Heaven right here, right now! You will get in your own way. You will manifest things not of Heaven. You will feel the pain of the past, you will seek out others who feed this. You will seek a scapegoat for all that is wrong. Satan is a great example of this, we make the decision, without consulting God and we blame the enemy for the result. We see ourselves under attack, when the true enemy was ego, self indulgence, my will over God’s. We have even blamed God for our own poor choices and we believe He has forsaken us. Once again taught perception.

My Spirit sees only the truth, righteousness in its purest form. After all it is Holy, it is the Spirit that is Jesus. When we are able to see the Spirit of others, see through their flesh, through the outer shell that hides their true identity, is when ego is gone and you become kingdom minded. You begin to manifest things in a whole new way. You see the righteousness in all. You see love in its purest form. There is not a part of you that says, that was great, but…  Nope, you just see their Spirit! The good, the same thing that God sees! You have just brought Heaven to earth. The best part, the reward if you will, is that you will no longer be working towards this, no striving, no mistaken identity. You will see a shift in your life like nothing ever dreamed of! You will see Him in everything. You will no longer, work, battle or fight through things. You will not just feel love, but physically see it. You will not feel the need to fix, cure or cast out other people’s problems, to feel good about your own. You will feel peace, joy, happiness and harmony in all parts of your life! This is kingdom living! Heaven on earth! Your truth, your true identity will manifest and the abundant life will be at hand. You will not have to reach for it, it will just be. People will see it on you, in you and around you. It will pour out of you like the living water that is your Father, that is who He made you to be.

I know it’s possible, I see it in my own life. I have not yet been able to manifest it it on a consistent level, but I do more than I did yesterday. But what I know is this, that feeling is amazing. Knowing the unconditional love and being able to give it back is Heaven! It’s joy in it finest and purest form. I also know it comes from resting in Him, no work or performance can do it. It is only by doing what the Father is doing can I bring Heaven, can I live Kingdom and can I be the true me!

Sonship

When you come to the realization that God is in everything, that He is all, you can then put to rest the idea that you can come under attack. Shame was not known until it was taught, weakness was not known until it was named. Lack is a product conceived by shame and weakness. Fear is lacks brother, taught by man, to control your mind.

If I shame you, convince you of your weakness, I now prove to you your lack, which installs the fear to do better, be better, to do more. I now show you that the only way to be what you can be is to do what I say. I can use your own mindset to keep you at bay, in control. I will convince you that by redemption is the only way to reconcile with God.

If God is love, if His intentions towards you are Good, then how can you come under attack by anything?  He is God after all! If He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, what are you going to do to change His mind towards you? You can’t work your way to Him, He is already there. You can’t buy your way to Him, He doesn’t value money. You can attempt to pray your way to Him,  He already knows what you’re thinking.

What you can do is rest in Him, build a relationship with Him. What happens after that will come natural. You will love yourself. You will love others. You will praise Him out of love for Him. You will pray for others so they see Him in you and see hope is real. You will give from your heart because your heart is now the same as His. You will serve out of love, not obligation. He is love, generosity pours from Him. He is kindness, He cares for all His children. He is strength, it empowers you, He lifts you up and directs you!

Your enemy is your mind, you attack you! You see the negativity you were taught. You believe the lie you tell yourself. You don’t need help from an outside entity, you have man, they tell you how you don’t measure up, how you have to do more, how you are weak and that you lack. You believe them, you believe yourself over everything He has shown you.

Faith is not believing that there is a God, Faith is believing that a God is in you! Jesus came to show you this very thing. He was a man, within Him was God. He was Divinity and man, He saw what we fail to see. He did not allow the words and actions of others to change who and what He is. They didn’t alter His call or direction. We raise Jesus up on a pedestal like He is something we can’t achieve. The truth He was carrying is that you can do it too, you can be just like Him! That is the blueprint of truth! He died as you, you were in Him! You were crucified with Him. He did it all, you don’t have to. It is finished!! We fail to recognize this truth, Jesus is the truth and the way!

This is the goal, to manifest in to a Son, just as Jesus is! Sonship is here, it’s no longer being saved and working towards redemption. It is being as Jesus was when He walked the earth. It is revealing to all that God is in them and that it is time to co-create with Him. This is going to bring Heaven on earth! This is not done by working towards, but by manifesting the truth of who we are. It will be by doing as Jesus, with Jesus! The more of us that see this, walk this out, is when we will see more of Heaven and less of this world.

You keep hearing rival is coming. You will be told to keep working towards it. I proclaim it’s here! It isn’t an outward thing you can see, it is an inward thing you can feel! Rival is in you, it is the manifestation of Sonship. It is the outpouring from within. It is time to rise up and be who we are called to be. Don’t rely on my words, it’s in the Bible. Research it, listen to those who are teaching it, believe what your Spirit is saying to you.

Grace, The Best News Ever

We want to go deeper, we want to feel more, see more and understand from His perspective. But we choose to do nothing about it. We listen to same people, we listen to the same teachings and we change nothing. Why? It’s because we find comfort in that which is familiar. We get complacent and we block out those things that we say we desire. It’s not that we don’t desire them, it’s not that we truly don’t want to know more, but this could require change. Our human self fears change, it fears what we already know being challenged. The biggest of them all is, what if what I believed all this time isn’t true? What if what I spoke out about, told others about isn’t exactly the truth? So what? You would join the millions of others who have done this with minor things to greater things. Here is a fact, just because it has been taught for ten, a hundred or a thousand years doesn’t make it true. What it does make it is ingrained in society, ingrained in those teaching and ingrained in you.

Here is something for you. If you decide to look outside your box of understanding. If you decide to listen or read something new or different. If you feel something different from your Spirit, it doesn’t make you a heretic or blasphemous. It makes you a disciple. Think about those twelve, what they endured. They followed and listened to a man speaking and teaching something totally different then what they knew. Jesus was teaching the Jewish people about Grace. He was releasing them from the law of man and attempting to lead them to a fearless relationship with the Father, our Father. He was trying to reconcile them with the unconditional love they always had, He was teaching the disciples the same thing. Think about how lost they were at first, how it challenged what they knew and their belief system. It was what they had been taught for years, but yet something inside them said, wait… there is something to this man, something to what He is saying. Grace wins every time, Jesus is Grace.

Paul wrote about two thirds of the New Testament, but are we truly listening to what he is saying? He wrote to the gentiles of his day, but it still is speaking to us today. He taught Grace, nothing more. He didn’t go back into the old news, he didn’t go back and teach law, he taught only the good news of Jesus Christ. He taught redemption, with out works. He taught complete forgiveness, with striving. He taught unconditional love from our Father, without us loving Him first. But yet, we go back, read those things taught in bondage mindset and make them our truth today. We proclaim Grace abound, but keep one foot placed firmly in the law. We listen to law, we teach law and we view it as Grace, tell everyone that this is Grace. The truth is we have to choose, Grace or law. If you go back and do one law, you have to do all six hundred and thirteen of them. You cannot be free unless you do one or the other. Jesus came to walk out the law of man for you, with you. He did it so you don’t have to, but yet we still go back, we still keep trying to do the work.

There is so much to learn from the old covenant, from that which happened before the cross. But it was not written to you, it was written for you to learn about. The truth (Jesus was the truth and the way), happened on the cross and went on after the cross. This was written to you. Paul’s revelations of Grace, the recognition of the finished work, is what we are supposed to be following. We have to get out of that box, that mindset of doing to be accepted by God’s love, His Grace. These things taught and ingrained in us, this is the bondage of self, our fear holds us back from wholeness and completeness through the very Grace we seek.

The things I am writing about aren’t really so far out there, they are in The Book. We have been blinded by the veil that we chose to put over own faces. We chose to listen and accept that which we believe today. We are chained to these beliefs and wonder why we are not truly happy. Pure Grace is the best news ever! Why is then we continue to drag those chains behind us? I leave you with these verses, this is who you are…

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:12-17‬ ‭NKJV

Our Choice of Truth

Why is it that someone can feed us a false truth, maybe even lie to us and we believe every word. Then someone else can tell us the truth and we see it as a lie? Even deeper, someone else can tell us that same truth and we believe them over the other person?
Think about those you give power over you. Those who you allow to speak into your life. Do we seek those who fill our needs even if it is not true? Do we seek those who fill our views and do not challenge us or challenge our doctrines? Do our wounds effect how we see others and what they say? What we believe, how we believe and who we believe. Is a direct result of how we view ourselves.?
A person who can step outside of their own belief system is one who will truly grow. An open mind and a soft heart will gain more knowledge, will gain more understanding and will grow faster than one who does not. The Vail that you are looking through was put there by you. No one else can hide the truth from you, except you.

Perspective, Open Your Mind.

When we read something, we must be cautious of how we read it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a self help book, an inspired reading, a Facebook post or the Bible. If we read it looking for authors heart in it, it will carry one perspective. If we look at it from a defensive mindset, will we see it as offensive. If we read it to rebuke it, we will see only see what “we” feel is wrong in it. Our mindset, where our hearts are is where we will read it from. If we are truly open minded, if we can look upon it with a joyous heart, we may find wisdom in it. We may find a view that we had not seen before.

What happens in most cases is we believe what we have been taught before or what we are being taught right now and can’t see past it. We lock in to what we believe with the inability to see anything else, we have closed our minds. We look at every word with this mindset, we look at what we believe about that person and think nothing good can from what they have to say. We don’t research it, we don’t look for wisdom in it, we instantly dismiss it. We remain stuck, stagnant and lack growth in who we can be, who we are supposed to be.

I could write about this for days. I have been that lock down person, that close minded person. I had a hardened heart and rebuked things based on the person.

Here are a couple of things I made a conscious decision to do. If I feel convicted by something, I search inside myself for the reason, because they cannot convict me. If they quote something or someone and it doesn’t settle in my Spirit, I research it. I always read the whole thing, I do my best to see where their heart is in the subject, it can change my perspective. This one to me is the most important, (which I have struggled with) I don’t argue with them. This does not mean we cannot have a conversation about it. What it does mean is, I ask questions, I don’t try to prove them wrong and I try to see where they are coming from, their heart and belief.

You cannot force anyone to believe what you believe. You cannot force anything down anyone’s throat. You cannot over power someone in conversation and force them to receive your message or understanding. If you truly approach everything and everyone with a heart of love, you may find yourself in a totally different mindset and a peace that you have never known.

Hebrews 10 TPT…

I would like you to read this. Read it two times if you like. I used TPT because it says it so clear, but it doesn’t matter which one you use. Soak it in.

“For if animal sacrifices could once and for all eliminate sin, they would have ceased to be offered and the worshipers would have clean consciences. Instead, once was not enough so by the repetitive sacrifices year after year, the worshipers were continually reminded of their sins, with their hearts still impure. The old system of living under the law presented us with only a faint shadow, a crude outline of the reality of the wonderful blessings to come. Even with its steady stream of sacrifices offered year after year, there still was nothing that could make our hearts perfect before God.

For what power does the blood of bulls and goats have to remove sin’s guilt? So when Jesus the Messiah came into the world he said, “Since your ultimate desire was not another animal sacrifice, you have clothed me with a body that I might offer myself instead! Multiple burnt offerings and sin-offerings cannot satisfy your justice. So I said to you, ‘God— I will be the One to go and do your will, to fulfill all that is written of me in your Word!’ ” First he said, “Multiple burnt-offerings and sin-offerings cannot satisfy your justice” (even though the law required them to be offered). And then he said, “God, I will be the One to go and do your will.” So by being the sacrifice that removes sin, he abolishes animal sacrifices and replaces that entire system with the new covenant. By God’s will we have been purified and made holy once and for all through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus, the Messiah! Yet every day priests still serve, ritually offering the same sacrifices again and again—sacrifices that can never take away sin’s guilt. But when this Priest had offered the one supreme sacrifice for sin for all time he sat down on a throne at the right hand of God, waiting until all his whispering enemies are subdued and turn into his footstool. And by his one perfect sacrifice he made us perfectly holy and complete for all time! The Holy Spirit confirms this to us by this Scripture, for the Lord says, “Afterwards, I will give them this covenant: I will embed my laws into their hearts and fasten my Word to their thoughts.” And then he says, “I will not ever again remember their sins and lawless deeds!” So if our sins have been forgiven and forgotten, why would we ever need to offer another sacrifice for sin?”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:1-18‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Now that you have read it, I have a question… Why are you working so hard? We have been taught to “do”. Do this, do more of this, it will get you right with God. That is old covenant teaching, law! Repent, ask for forgiveness, pray to be blessed, give more money, serve to be favored. Do, do, and do some more! You don’t have to do anything. It says right there in scripture, He did it for us, for all of us. When we finally wrap our minds around what our Spirit knows, we will be free, free indeed.

Jesus came to do for you, from what Adam did to you. He came to wash you clean. He came to release you. What more do you think you can do to make it better? God already sees you pure and clean. It says so in scripture, no more needs to be done. You are righteous, whole and complete. One sacrifice for all! Once again scripture says so. Then why are we being taught that we must do more?

As you believe this, really believe this, you will find a freedom like you have never known. You will draw closer to God, the God that is already in you. As you see you as He sees you, the righteousness that He knows will manifest naturally out of you. You will do out of want instead of out of have to. You are already favored, already Holy and already forgiven.

Read it again, now believe it!

Did He Die in Vein

You will hear many things about those who choose to not do business as usual. You may yourself look down on them, speak ill of them and call them blasphemers. Why is this? Is it because of right and wrong? Who determines this?

That day, on the cross, Jesus said “it is finished”. Some of us believe that. We saw and see the end of the old covenant. We see that the law was broken, it is done. But for some it is ingrained in you, that you must still follow the law, it was for me too. The working and the striving. One foot in the law, the old covenant teachings and the other in Grace. We say that Jesus came to reconcile us from the works of the law, we say He came for us all to be free, but yet we stay in that bondage. We follow this law and not that one, we say we have to do this for God’s acceptance, but can disregard that one. This is a mixed message. We read a verse out of the old covenant, that is teachings before the cross and tell each other this is the way to God. If we are still having to do those things, Jesus died for nothing!

What if I told you that you were born free of the law, of bondage to the law of the old covenant, until someone taught it to you. Someone told you that faith without works is dead, not that His Grace is enough, that Jesus plus nothing is enough. Someone taught you that tithing ten percent is what God wants you to do, not that you should give from your heart, that serving is showing God you love Him, not serve because you love your brothers and sisters. Someone taught you that you have to show God your faithfulness for Him to give you favor, not that truth is God is faithful even when we are faithless. Old covenant, new covenant, you don’t have to believe me, but look this up for yourself. These examples are in your Bible too, one is on one side of the cross, the other is on the other side.

It is not anyone faults, it was taught to them too. Years of religiosity has got them all tied up also. Religion is powerful, even those who speak out against it can’t see their own bondage to it. This included me! I had to rest in Him to see this. I had to be still, open my heart, which opened my mind to see the truth. It has been right in front of us all along. We must die to our flesh to truly see God’s Grace. As long as we stay busy, as long as we continue to servants to the law, we will not see the true meaning of what Jesus did for us all. Just take ten minutes each day, rest in Him, don’t read, don’t pray for anything, just rest in Him. Listen, hear Him, see what He is really been telling you all along. Grace was freely given, you are in the new covenant and He loves you unconditionally!

“I do not make void the grace of God, for if righteousness [be] through law — then Christ died in vain.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭YLT1898
